You Were Never Meant to Settle: Reclaiming Your Birthright of Well-Being

Somewhere along the way — between the responsibilities, the caregiving, the career-building, the curveballs of life — we start to believe that well-being is a luxury.
Something reserved for when the children are grown, when the job is stable, when there’s more time, when the stars align just right.

The real truth:
Well-being is not a luxury. It is your inherent birthright. You do not have to earn the right to be well, happy, healthy, abundant or loved.

BUT (and this is huge) the journey to cultivating a rich, beautiful, healthy, well-curated life — mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually, relationally — starts with one powerful decision:

You must believe that you are worthy of it.

". . .over the years, I unconsciously absorbed the message that my needs, my joy, my radiance — could wait.."

When I was standing at a fork in my own path — feeling the ache of dreams deferred, the weight of too many “shoulds” and not enough “wants” — I realized something quietly devastating:

I no longer believed I was worthy or deserving of more.

Not because anyone told me I didn’t.
But because over the years, I unconsciously absorbed the message that my needs, my joy, my radiance — could wait.
That everyone else’s thriving was more important.
That my well-being was basically optional as long as everyone else could see how much I did for them. Ouch!

You Are the Reason. You Always Have Been.

Maybe you recognize that feeling too.

Maybe you’ve spent so much energy building a beautiful life for others that you forgot your own spirit deserves the same careful tending.

Maybe you’ve thought,
“I’ll start taking care of myself… later.”
“Once things calm down.”
“When I lose the weight.”
“When the kids are gone.”

“When I have more money, or less stress, or a better reason.”

But what if the reason is simply you? To become who you came to this earth to be?

What if today — right now — you made the decision to believe:
“I am worthy of well-being. Without conditions. Without delay.”

Because that belief alone changes everything.

Knowing your worth is what will drive your decisions towards well-being. If you lack conviction of your worthiness to be loved, healthy, abundant and joyful then we will make decisions reflect that.

Starting over — or starting fresh — especially later in life, can bring about feelings that it’s too late or that you’ve missed out on your prime. But it’s never too late. In fact, it’s exactly the right time, the moment you make the decision.

You bring with you all the wisdom, resilience, and grace that only life experience can teach.
And now, you can pair that wisdom with radical self-love.

The life of well-being you crave isn’t built overnight.
It’s built moment by moment — with small, sacred and aligned choices rooted in the belief that you deserve more than just surviving.

You deserve to flourish.

So today, Queen, I invite you:
Place your hand over your heart.
Close your eyes.
And say — truly say —
“I am worthy of a life that feels as good on the inside as it looks on the outside.”

Then take one small step toward your life of well-being.
Just one.
And then another.
And then another.

This is how you begin.
This is how you become.
This is how you come home to yourself again.

It all starts with the decision to believe you are worthy.
And you are. More than you know.

Ready to Begin? Here Are 3 Simple First Steps:

1. Write it down.
In your journal (or even the Notes app), finish this sentence:
“I am worthy of a life that includes…”
Be honest. Be bold. Nothing is off-limits. Just let it flow.

2. Commit to one sacred 5-10 minute ritual.
Whether it’s morning quiet time, stretching, or sipping tea on your porch — choose one thing that nourishes you, and protect it like gold.

3. Say it aloud — daily.
Look yourself in the mirror and say:
“I am worthy of a life of well-being. I choose me.”
Every day. Until you believe it. And then keep going.

You don’t need a full overhaul of your life plan. You just need to begin.
One small step.
One loving choice.
One brave belief.

And I’m cheering you on, every step of the way.
