Healing Involves Admitting to Some Hard Truths You Just Might Not Be Ready For

I’m not say you have to tear yourself down to achieve true healing but you are going to have to acknowledge, admit and accept some hard truths. It’s hard, scary as hell and you will feel downright attacked at times

BUT

~When you aren’t afraid to acknowledge all the good, the bad and the down right ugly about yourself
~When you can acknowledge that the song Bag Lady might have been written about you
~When you aren’t afraid to sit with and process your feelings, why you think the way that you do and why you do that thing you do that sabotages you every damn time
~When you come to the realization that “that’s just the way I am” has you miserably sitting on your couch alone every night scrolling Facebook to avoid actually making those moves that you talk about making but you haven’t made yet
~When you can admit that you are extremely consistent and by that I mean consistently inconsistent
~And when you can shed that ego that keeps you holding on to shit out of fear, making you think that you need to be right or that you’re always right, that has you out here not apologizing and holding grudges against people that you wronged,

Then you will start growing and evolving. Then you will start healing. Then you will start to see the path light up towards your best self.
